About Us

Abby’s Legacy Foundation was founded in memory of our daughter Abby Furco, who fought a valiant battle with childhood cancer and its effects for the majority of her life on this earth. Abby was resilient, kind, funny, strong and loving, just to name a few.

At age 4 she was diagnosed with PH+ ALL (Leukemia) in February 2011, relapsed September 2014, diagnosed with heart failure December 2014, had a Bone Marrow Transplant January 2015, suffered extreme Graft Vs Host Disease (GVHD) effects soon after. Abby fought a long hard battle to be a kid, and passed away October 19, 2021 due to heart failure and multiple system failure from cancer treatment.

Abby was a friend to many and enjoyed serving others in many ways. TEAM ABBY, family members, friends. community members & strangers. rallied around Abby & our family and have done great things to support both us and others battling.

Abby’s Legacy Foundation was founded in 2023 to continue to do exactly that, carry on Abby’s Legacy of helping others and support patients & familes battling childhood cancer. Thank you for being here and we look forward to working together.
